The Battle of Camden Rev War Reenactment 2023 presented by Southern Campaign 1780 is now the largest annual force-on-force Rev. War reenactment in the nation. This year, we will host reenactments of the Battle of Stono Ferry and The Battle of Camden, (in a pine grove!)
Dates and Times: Saturday November 11, 2023, 10am-5pm Sunday November 12, 2023, 10am-3pm.
Location: The Meeting Place, 1208 Keys Lane, Kershaw, SC, 12 miles north of Camden, 1.2 miles from N. Central High School. (We moved from our old downtown Camden location four years ago with RAVE reviews of our modern-intrusion-free site of the last four years.)
This all outdoor, family friendly, event is in a spectacular pastoral field and longleaf pine forested location! You will see hundreds of Crown and Patriot reenactors, (with full scale battles each day at 1:00pm), 18th C. craftsmen, 18th C. merchants, and 18th C. entertainment; living history experts making history come alive, and FUN. We have received the distinction of national recognition of both The Continental Line and the British Brigade, (leading Rev. War Reenactor organizations). Food Vendors will be on site!
